Speech Pathologist

Part Time 32 hours/fortnight negotiable

 

Terang and Mortlake Health Service is currently seeking a Speech Pathologist. The successful applicant will be responsible for providing Speech Pathology services in accordance with Health Services agreed targets. This will include the provision of direct care to Terang and Mortlake community based, acute and residential aged care clients. you will work autonomously and at a self-directed pace in order to achieve clinical targets and is an integral part of the community health team which includes dietetics, podiatry, diabetes education, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, social work etc.

 

To be successful, you must:

  • Have a Tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology as recognised by Speech Pathology Australia
  • Be eligible for, or a member of, Speech Pathology Australia
  • Experience in developing work practices, policies and procedures
  • Experience as a speech pathologist managing a generalist caseload
  • Awareness of the issues associated with working in a rural environment
